Coryland Church

Welcome to Coryland

3028 Hickory Rd, Columbia Cross Roads, PA 16914

          We are Baptist & Presbyterian

Coryland Church is a small, friendly group of Christians who meet for worship and fellowship on top of Coryland Mountain in rural Wells Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.

Thank you for stopping by our site. We would love to have you come out and fellowship with us.

“Coryland Church believes that Jesus Christ alone is the Lord of all and the Way of Salvation.  The Holy Scripture is the Triune God’s revealed Word, the church’s only rule of faith, life and practice.”  This Statement of Faith was adopted January 16, 2005.

We are affiliated with The American Baptist Churches and The Presbyterian Churches U. S. A.

So you are wondering, how does that work?! Quite well. In 2009 we celebrated 100 years of the federation of the two congregations.  The church began as The Presbyterian Church of Wells and Columbia in 1832 and The Baptist Hill Church in 1846. On Palm Sunday, March 24, 1991 the Baptist church building was struck by lightening and destroyed. A beautiful stone marker with an etching of the church and a large pavilion in the shape of a cross now stand in its place. We continue to meet together as one congregation, though membership is tracked according to each person's denomination. Each congregation chooses its own deacons or elders and trustees, who meet together as a combined church board.

We currently enjoy worship and Sunday school for all ages, choirs for children and adults, quilting, Cub Scouts and Vacation Bible School in the summer.

We would love to have you come worship with us. We are located in the beautiful Endless Mountains of Bradford County at the "four corners" near Coryland and Hickory Roads in Columbia Cross Roads, PA.

We are very pleased to have a new pastor as of 2015. To reach us, contact Pastor Jay Zaremba at 570-297-0962, Elder Nancy Pratt at 570-549-8136, Deacon Bob Baker at 570-537-2266, or leave a message on the church phone 570-549-4040.  Our email address is
